Sky Watch Friday

The Smithsonian Institute's first building also known as the "Castle".
The Capitol building from the Mall as the sun was rising. It looks as if the sky was painted.

My mom and I went to Washington DC during my fall break of 2005. It was a great trip and I don't think I've ever walked so much in one place during my life!

Great photos. I was there this summer for a quick day trip of photography. I need to get back when I have more time to walk around.

These are both beautiful. Love that first one, but it's interesting to see the capitol at that hour. Don't get to see that very often.
