Shedd Aquarium

The beautiful Mandarinfish, my favorite!
Shark eggs...I thought they looked like plastic!
Electric eel...apparently they can shock you with up to 600 volts. Ouch!
Amazon Tree Boa

These were all taken at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL the weekend before last when I went up for a visit. This aquarium is one of the most amazing aquariums I have ever been to. I just wish the glass was a little more camera-friendly. :)

Great photos!

So is the one below of the snow. And as I'm sure you know if you've looked out your window, it's snowing again!

Oh, I love the smiling Boa and the way the teeth are angled like a shark's for grip and easy swallowing. A one way street.

You're photos are amazing, even through the glass. I agree, those shark eggs look like a cluster of plastics. And that first image, Wow, the colors and patterns are awesome. I want a skirt that looks like that. Great post. Thanks for the Shedd tour. I haven't been there since I was a kid on a field trip.

Yeah, aquarium glass is no joke but I think the shots are great and the animals very interesting. That boa is a beautiful shade of green.

That's one beautiful boa. I guess the glass is there for a reason, but the picture is still great.
