Electric eel...apparently they can shock you with up to 600 volts. Ouch!
Amazon Tree BoaThese were all taken at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, IL the weekend before last when I went up for a visit. This aquarium is one of the most amazing aquariums I have ever been to. I just wish the glass was a little more camera-friendly. :)

Oh, I love the smiling Boa and the way the teeth are angled like a shark's for grip and easy swallowing. A one way street.

Yeah, aquarium glass is no joke but I think the shots are great and the animals very interesting. That boa is a beautiful shade of green.
That's one beautiful boa. I guess the glass is there for a reason, but the picture is still great.
